Jitai Hangkong Keji (Suzhou) Youxian Gongsi develops avionics, aviation communications equipment and ground infrastructure. Founded in August 2021 by Hou Weigui, the founder of ZTE, it is headquartered in Taicang, Suzhou, with branches in Shanghai and Shenzhen. Its business covers large-aircraft avionics, low-altitude avionics and intelligent aviation infrastructure, with an emphasis on coordinating aircraft and ground systems. For eVTOL and unmanned aircraft, its range includes the GOAP™ avionics platform and air-to-ground data links.

GDL™ (GTAC DataLink) is its multimode broadband communications system for transmitting control commands, telemetry, images and video between low-altitude aircraft and ground stations. A single device combines 1.4G self-organizing networking with 4G/5G public-network connectivity and supports 5G-A. It supports star and Mesh topologies, multiple aircraft and stations, relay operation and roaming between self-organizing network base stations. Stated 1.4G link specifications include 150 km single-station coverage, operation at 500 km/h, 25 ms latency and 5 Mbps at 120 km. Intended applications include inspection, cargo transport and passenger-carrying aircraft. Its design references civil-aircraft airworthiness requirements for medium and large unmanned aircraft systems and eVTOL aircraft; completed GDL certification.

For large aircraft, Jitai has developed a fixed emergency locator transmitter system and reports completing DAL D-level airworthiness certification for it. Its iCube™ integrated computing unit has been delivered to multiple customers. Ground infrastructure offerings include network and terminal solutions using 5G AeroMACS for civil-airport surface operations, as well as a 5G-A low-altitude management platform for protecting important sites. Its research team draws on avionics, communications electronics and automotive electronics experience, and its development processes follow standards including AS9100D.
