Yaofeng Radar develops surveillance radars and integrated defense systems, focusing on the detection of low-altitude, slow-speed, small-sized targets. Its hardware portfolio includes pulsed Doppler radars with mechanical scanning, phased-array scanning and digital beamforming. A research and development team led by PhD supervisors supports its work through collaboration across industry, academia and research.
The YFR-02 radar uses mechanical azimuth scanning and phase scanning in elevation. The YFR-03 combines mechanical azimuth scanning with digital beamforming in elevation to detect and locate low-altitude aircraft. The YFR-04 uses two-dimensional phase scanning for detection in complex urban environments and individual battlefield surveillance. The product range includes YFR-02A, YFR-02B, YFR-03B and YFR-04B models.
Yaofeng Radar's documented applications include border security, key-point protection, urban low-altitude security, fortress security and maritime safety. Its manufacturing facilities include radar assembly and adjustment lines, servo system production lines and a field test platform, supported by temperature, rain and vibration test equipment and anechoic microwave chambers.
