Huizhou Zhonghe Aviation Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in 2010 and is based in Guangdong, China. Its early work involved developing and producing large-scale composite aircraft models and aircraft under its THMX and TH-models brands, which were sold internationally. Drawing on its experience with ultralight materials, the company began developing long-endurance, high-payload UAVs in 2013 and moved them into mass production. Its business covers UAV research and development, manufacturing and flight services, with a hardware range encompassing drone platforms, complete drones and drone parts.
The company also provides OEM production of UAV flight platforms for domestic research institutes, universities and drone companies, and develops or customizes products according to customer requirements. Its ZH-VF16E Electric Composite-Wing VTOL UAV combines vertical takeoff and landing with fixed-wing cruise for large-area, long-duration missions. The carbon-fiber composite airframe measures 2600 × 1320 × 612 mm. Its runway-free configuration supports takeoff and landing in complex terrain, with civilian applications including surveying and mapping, power line and pipeline inspection, and environmental monitoring. Mission payload options include visible-light, infrared and LiDAR equipment. The airframe comes in air force gray, with custom colors available.
