Hesai Technology develops and manufactures lidar sensors for automotive, robotics and industrial applications. Founded in 2014, the company combines proprietary ASIC development with in-house research and manufacturing. It operates factories in China and Thailand and has offices in Shanghai, Palo Alto and Stuttgart. Its broader portfolio includes the Kosmo spatial intelligence platform and robotic actuation modules. Its lidar applications span driver assistance, robotaxis, roboshuttles, robotic trucking, service robots, warehousing and logistics, stationary applications and spatial sensing.
Hesai's lidar range includes ETX, an automotive-grade 120° ultra-long-range model designed for L3 autonomous driving, and ATX and AT128, which provide 120° high-resolution long-range sensing. OT128 and the 128-channel Pandar128 offer 360° long-range coverage. Short-range models include the fully solid-state, ultra-wide-view FTX and the 128-channel QT128 with 360° ultra-wide-view coverage. Designed for robotics and industrial applications, the mini JT128/64P provides 360° x 189° hyper-hemispherical 3D sensing, while JT32/16 provides mini 360° 3D sensing. XT32M/32/16 is a high-precision 360° mid-range lidar, and MT is designed for high-precision 3D reconstruction.
