Getai Aviation Technologies Co.，Limited is a privately owned developer of airborne electronic equipment for civilian aviation in Jiangsu, China. Established in August 2021 at the initiative of ZTE founder Hou Weigui, the company focuses its research on advanced architectures for next-generation avionics, airborne electronics designed for high safety, maintenance and operational support systems, and digital simulation and integration verification environments. Its main exhibits include multimode air-to-ground data link systems and avionics system platforms.
GOBL, short for GTAC Omni Broadband dataLink, is its broadband communication system for connecting low-altitude aircraft with the ground and transmitting remote-control commands, telemetry and video imagery over long distances. The ACU airborne dual-mode communication unit connects to other onboard systems and exchanges remote-control, telemetry and payload data through ad hoc and public wireless networks. The GCU ground communication unit connects with the ACU during ad hoc network operation and supports roaming handover. NMS network management software handles connection and disconnection management, monitoring, configuration, traffic control, software upgrades and web access. GOBL's safety, reliability and design assurance processes use civil aircraft airworthiness requirements as design references. Intended applications include medium and large unmanned aircraft systems and eVTOL aircraft with demanding airworthiness requirements.
