Paide Cable (Kunshan) Co., Ltd is based in the Kunshan Development Zone in Jiangsu Province, China, and combines cable production with research and development. Its design and development work covers drone cables, watertight cables, pipeline robot cables and remotely operated vehicle (ROV) cables. Its tethered drone cables serve as supporting components that physically connect an aircraft to a ground power source or control station, providing continuous electrical power and high-speed data transmission within the tethered system.
The tethered cable range includes all-electric, optical-electrical tether and coaxial series. Common configurations include 2 × 0.8 mm² and 2 × 0.8 mm² + 1 SMF, with silver-plated, tin-plated or alloy conductor options. The cables are lightweight and compact, making them easy to deploy and retrieve repeatedly. Braided versions are black, while non-braided versions can be supplied in customized colors. These options cover cable configuration, conductor material and exterior finish for the company's tethered drone components.
