Product overview

The Xingkai XK-FT500C is a heavy-duty automatic tracking gimbal for long-range UAV target tracking. Its horizontal mechanism provides unlimited 360° rotation, paired with 0–90° pitch travel. Maximum horizontal and pitch speeds are 60°/s and 30°/s, with 0.1° accuracy on each axis. The 249 × 230 × 305 mm unit weighs 13 kg and supports a maximum payload of 15.5 kg, providing concrete dimensions and load capacity for installation planning. It has an IP66 protection rating and an operating temperature range of −35°C to 66°C.

Local differential GPS comes as standard, and the gimbal supports tracking while moving. Integration protocols include MAVLink 1.0, MAVLink 2.0, NMEA 0183 MFD and eight different autopilot protocols. An optional video link box has a 50–200 km range. Electrical integration requires DC24V, with gimbal consumption of ≤90 W and output power of ≤48 W through the rotating mechanism. Installation requires horizontal alignment checked with a level and an exposed, unobstructed front-end antenna. An RF load must be fitted before power-on; antenna impedance, frequency and power must be closely matched, and power disconnected before antenna replacement to prevent possible amplifier damage.
