Product overview

The Xingkai XK-F368 2*40W is an airborne SDR MIMO mesh radio for exchanging voice, data and imagery between mobile nodes. Its distributed, centerless architecture supports point-to-point, point-to-multipoint and multipoint-to-multipoint communication, with Layer 2 or 3 dynamic routing and multi-hop relay. Two 40W RF outputs support transmission power control. Single-hop communication distances are 100–300 KM under visible conditions and 1–30 KM in urban areas. Adaptive data rates span 1–100Mbps at 20MHz bandwidth, with average single-hop delay of 7mS at that bandwidth.

The black 40W ×2 airborne radio measures 150 × 141 × 61 mm, weighs 1540 g and has four mounting holes. It accepts 18–32VDC, with power supplied through a twist-lock battery or main cable. Connections include two TNC RF interfaces, one to three RJ45 Ethernet interfaces supporting 100/1000BaseT, WiFi AP, GPS/BD, RS232/TTL UART and Sbus/Bluetooth. Auxiliary connections include microphone, speaker and push-to-talk signals, RS485/422 and USB2.0 OTG. Separate indicators display network status and link quality.

Optional network extensions cover public-network routing/4G LTE, WB-NB integration, fiber and satellite. Optional low-delay video extensions provide HDMI, SDI and CVBS, with 4K, 2K, 1080P, 720P and D1 formats. Management is available through a web-based GUI, an API for secondary development and SNMP. Channel bandwidth choices are 1.25, 2.5, 5, 10 and 20MHz, while modulation is adaptive with a fixed setting optional. Operating temperature spans −40°C to +80°C. Protection is IP66, with IP67/IP68 requiring customization.
