Product overview
The Xingkai ELRS 2.5W TX High-frequency head is an ExpressLRS transmitter module for FPV drone control, identified as a 300Mhz unit. Its electronic architecture combines ESP32 and LR1121 main control ICs with an ESP8285 backpack chip. The hardware belongs at the remote-control transmitter interface; it is a radio module rather than a flight platform or airframe kit. Its power choices extend from 100mW to 2500mW, with five output levels and four refresh-rate options.
Integration requires a remote-control module interface that outputs CRSF signals, because the module accepts only Crossfire Serial Data Protocol signals in its default configuration. OpenTX configuration uses CRSF output and a LUA script for module control. Input voltage is specified in two overlapping forms, 5-8.4V(2S) and 5-12V(2S), without a configuration distinction between them. Those differing upper limits leave the permitted supply ceiling unresolved; neither range establishes a separate supplied hardware variant.
