Product overview
The Wuxi Beiwei Sensing Technology BW-VG225 is a low-cost dynamic inclination sensor with CAN bus output and support for both moving and stationary measurements. Its processing features combine Kalman filtering, nonlinearity and orthogonality compensation, gyroscope drift compensation, and a special bias-tracking algorithm for drift elimination. Applications include unmanned aircraft, robotics, platform stabilization, autonomous driving, underwater ROV navigation, ships and naval vessels, construction machinery, and agricultural machinery. Pitch and roll measurement ranges are ±90º and ±180º respectively.
The sensor package measures 60 mm long, 59 mm wide and 29 mm high. Weight is 280g including the cable, rising to 360g including packaging. Dynamic accuracy is 0.5°, while static accuracy and resolution are each 0.01°. The temperature range extends from -40°C to +85°C. Shock resistance is specified as 2000g for 0.5ms, three times per axis, and mean time between failures is at least 90000 hours. These dimensions and weights describe the inclination sensor hardware.
