Product overview
The Unicore UM960 provides multi-constellation, multi-frequency RTK positioning for drone shows, lawn mowers, handheld devices, high-precision GIS equipment and robots. Built around Unicore's NebulasIV GNSS system-on-chip, it combines radio-frequency processing, baseband processing and high-precision algorithms. Its 1408 channels enable simultaneous tracking of BDS, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS and SBAS signals, with independent tracking of satellite frequencies and on-chip RTK calculations. The module also includes interference and spoofing detection, alongside interference resistance and anti-spoofing features.
The UM960 delivers position updates at 20 Hz, with accuracy varying by positioning mode. Horizontal and vertical RMS accuracy is 1.5 m and 2.5 m in single-point mode, 0.4 m and 0.8 m with DGPS, and 0.8 cm + 1 ppm and 1.5 cm + 1 ppm with RTK. Cold-start positioning takes less than 30 seconds, and typical initialization takes less than 5 seconds, with specified initialization reliability greater than 99.9%. It accepts RTCM 2.3, RTCM 3.X and CMR differential data and supports NMEA 0183 and Unicore data formats.
The module uses a 24-pin LGA package measuring 12.2 × 16.0 × 2.6 mm, with a weight of 1.11 g ± 0.03 g. Its supply requirement is +3.0 V to 3.6 V DC, and typical power consumption is 450 mW. Operating temperature ranges from -40°C to +85°C, with a humidity specification of 95% under non-condensing conditions. Connectivity includes three LVTTL UART interfaces. The single I²C interface and Galileo E6 signal support require specific user authorization.
