Product overview
The T-MOTOR VL1028 KV190 motor provides propulsion for vertical-takeoff UAVs. Its 24N28P architecture uses imported 6901 bearings and centrifugal cooling, with a body measuring Φ109.6 × 52.5 mm. Installation must accommodate the motor’s 940 g weight including wires and its 150 mm enamelled leads. The motor has IPX5 protection and an operating ambient range of −30°C to 55°C. Separate thermal ratings apply to its construction: 180°C for the magnets, 150°C for the stator coating and 220°C for the enamelled wire.
The associated propulsion configuration combines the VL1028 KV190 motor, V200A ESC and VZ29 × 11-inch propeller. The ESC offers PWM/CAN control, DRONE CAN/UAV CAN communication and electronic propeller indexing with a customizable stopping angle through 360°. Its adaptive indexing adjusts current in response to external force to control holding torque. Motor limits include 180 A maximum current and 2312 W maximum sustained power for 180 seconds. The ESC’s 220 A maximum for 10 seconds and 120 A continuous rating both require certain heat-dissipation conditions.
