The SwellPro Trollsafe (TS2) provides tension-triggered fishing-line release for drone fishing and sky-trolling. It mounts directly on the fishing drone and can work with the aircraft's payload release, placing its function within the drone's existing line-handling arrangement. When a bite brings the line to the release threshold, the device can let the line go automatically. The threshold is adjustable for rougher or calmer conditions, with an approximate specified release-tension range of 500–800 g.
The device measures 43.5 × 24 × 14 mm and weighs 15.5 g, defining the physical size and added mass of the accessory to be integrated. The supplied configuration contains one Trollsafe TS2 device. Listed aircraft compatibility covers Fisherman MAX (FD2), Fisherman FD3, Fisherman FD1/1+, and SplashDrone 4/4+. Its protective role also includes releasing the line during a reel jam or when a bird strikes the line, helping protect the drone under those specific circumstances.
