Product overview
The SwellPro ESC for Splashdrone 3+ is an electronic speed controller optimized for SplashDrones, with provision for use in custom drone builds. Its circuits address reliability and heat dissipation, while multirotor control programming targets throttle response. Software is optimized for disc-type motors, and preset settings provide adaptive operation. The power stage uses extra-low-resistance MOSFETs. Continuous output is 40A, with a 60A burst permitted for up to 10 seconds, using a 2-6-cell lithium battery input.
The controller measures 68 x 25 x 8.7mm and weighs 26g, defining its installation space and component mass. It has 120mm red and black cables, a 260mm signal cable and a 3.5mm bullet connector specification. Its OPTO configuration has no BEC: installations whose flight controller lacks a BEC require a separately purchased 5V UBEC to power the RC receiver. Timing is High or Intermediate. The throttle refresh specification is at least 400Mhz, alongside a separately stated supported signal frequency of up to 621Hz.
