Product overview
Zhuhai SV Tech Co., Ltd.’s AXR 8828 SSG-D is a standard servo for model steering, control surfaces and mechanical actuation. Its architecture combines a brushless motor, stainless steel gears and two bearings within a 35.5 × 15 × 36.4 mm envelope weighing 52 g. A 300 mm cable supports installation planning. The electrical interface uses PWM, with a stated operating frequency of 333 Hz and a permissible supply range of 4.8–8.4 V. Integration requires matching the mounting holes, servo-arm connection, supply and signal pulse widths.
Performance varies with supply voltage. At 6 V, stall torque is 19 kg·cm and no-load speed is 0.13 s/60°; at 7.4 V, these become 24 kg·cm and 0.122 s/60°. At 8.4 V, the servo reaches 28 kg·cm stall torque and 0.105 s/60°, with running and stall currents of 0.4 A and 2.8 A respectively. Rated torque is 16 kg·cm at 8.4 V. Continuous-load selection must account for rated torque and duty cycle, because the stall figures cannot serve as continuous-load ratings.
Control setup requires attention to the distinction between the 1520 µs reference pulse and the 1500 µs position midpoint. The stated pulse-to-angle mapping is 500 / 1500 / 2500 µs for -90 / 0 / 90°, with center and usable travel dependent on the controller and delivered version. Mount fabrication also requires the final installation drawing and interface version because dimensional datums may differ. Initial commissioning should use reduced or removed load, while the power supply needs transient-current margin and the mechanism must avoid sustained contact with its travel stops.

| Torque limitation | Stall torque is not a continuous-load rating; continuous-load selection must account for rated torque and duty cycle. For continuous-load selection. |
| Voltage qualification | The operating range specifies permissible supply voltage.Within the 4.8–8.4 V operating range. |
| Center position and travel qualification | The reference pulse is 1520 µs, while the position midpoint is 1500 µs; establish the center position and usable travel for the controller and delivered version. With the selected controller and delivered servo version. |
| Mounting dimensions qualification | Drawings and specifications may use different dimensional datums; mounting hardware requires the final installation drawing and interface version. Before fabricating mounting hardware. |
| Initial setup | Remove or limit the load while establishing center position, movement direction and mechanical travel, then progressively assess the working load.During initial commissioning. |
| Electrical and mechanical integration | Match the supply, pulse widths, mounting holes and servo-arm connection. Allow supply margin for transient current and avoid cable voltage drop, reversed polarity and sustained loading against mechanical stops.During installation and operation. |
