Product overview
The Spard UAV Intelligent Protection Board is a battery protection and monitoring component for UAV integration. Its board-based architecture combines adjustable electrical protection thresholds, local LED indication and a communication interface for battery data. The overcharge setting is 4.38V, the overdischarge setting is 2.7V, and the overcurrent threshold is greater than 30A; all three are adjustable. These functions give the component a defined role in managing battery electrical conditions and presenting battery status.
Integration features include an SMBUS/I2C communication port through which cycle count, current, voltage, state of charge and state of health can be read. LED indication covers battery information and flashing alarms for abnormal conditions, while encryption, intelligent sleep and storage self-discharge protection are also supported. A material operating limitation applies in intelligent flight mode: when continuous current exceeds 5A, the board provides alarms only and does not apply protection. That mode therefore changes the board’s response to operating conditions.
