Product overview

The SkyRC TX58600 is an FPV video transmitter for sending video from a camera mounted inside a quadcopter to a ground-based 5.8GHz receiver. Its hardware incorporates an SMA connector, an onboard microphone, a band/channel button and separate LED displays for band and channel indication. Transmission power is 600mW, with five user-selectable bands providing a total of 40 frequencies in the 5.8GHz spectrum. The integrated microphone also allows audio to be transmitted to the receiver.

The transmitter comes with a pre-wired harness and provides a 7-18V power input, a camera video input and a 5V output for powering an FPV camera. These connections serve the battery supply and camera interface within the onboard installation. A single button selects the band and frequency, with LEDs displaying the selection. Manual channel searching is provided, and the on-screen display shows battery voltage and frequency. The supplied configuration is a video transmitter with its wiring harness.
