Product overview
The unmanned system self-organizing network radio provides a communications subsystem for UAVs, unmanned ground vehicles, unmanned boats and robots. Its physical configuration combines two transmit and two receive RF channels with two N-K antenna connectors. Aviation connectors provide service Ethernet and management, serial communication and power connections, with local parameter management available through Ethernet. Installation must accommodate dimensions of up to 200 × 195 × 90 mm including interfaces and a weight of up to 1.7 kg.
Operating at 600–700 MHz, the radio offers nine carrier bandwidth settings, COFDM transmission and adaptive modulation, with a peak rate of 100 Mbps. Automatic multihop relay supports connections with vehicle-mounted radios and nearby base stations, including communication on the move. Single-hop distance can reach 70 km or more in open line-of-sight conditions. The power configuration accepts DC 20–38 V, provides for battery operation and supports power from the unmanned payload. Peak consumption is ≤42 W; ingress protection is IP65, and operating temperature is -40°C to +65°C.
