Product overview
SuperDock M400 is a ground dock, not an aircraft. It handles automatic takeoff, landing, recharging and data upload for DJI enterprise drones. There are two versions. The charging version supports the M400 and also works with the M350 and M300, so existing fleets can keep using it. The battery-swap version is designed around the M400 for heavy daily use. The dock is meant for missions that need specialised payloads, such as strong zoom with thermal imaging, precise mapping sensors and third-party equipment. The aircraft, remote controller and batteries do not need to be taken apart or modified, and the original manufacturer warranty stays in place.
The enclosure is made entirely of stainless steel for long-term use on the coast. The upper hatch stays closed during takeoff to keep sand and dust out of the dock. The dock is small enough that even the slightly taller battery-swap version fits through a normal freight elevator. Inside, the router, industrial computer and other modules are combined on one circuit board. An optional 4G/5G module connects to the cloud where there is no wired network. Because the dock is compact, it folds the M400's propellers at the front, back and sides. An AI check confirms the area around the dock is clear before the aircraft can take off.
The charging version can charge a battery from 20% to 90% in under 30 minutes, as long as heat dissipation and power are kept within suitable limits. The battery-swap version can change a battery in as little as 100 seconds and holds four batteries inside. In typical use, the dock can run continuously on a 3 kW supply, so a 220V line is enough. For landing, the system uses the M400's built-in fisheye camera and a light-guide marker with adjustable brightness. If the main camera fails, the system can switch to fisheye landing on its own. The dock supports DJI's cloud API, GB28181 video streaming and hopping between several docks, including at night. The vehicle-mounting module will be released separately.
