Product overview
The Leishen Intelligent System LS500W1 is a LiDAR sensing component for blind spot detection, with construction machinery as a principal application and industrial drone/UAV use among its applications. Its 120° horizontal and 73° vertical field of view supports broad scene coverage, while the specified detection interval extends from 2 to 150 m. Detection targets include people, animals, small tires and debris, making obstacle awareness a central purpose alongside its mapping and material measurement functions.
The sensor measures 270 × 160 × 80 mm and weighs no more than 3 kg, defining its physical integration envelope. Its sensing configuration combines a 1550 nm wavelength with 480 scanning channels and a point generation rate of 3,700,000 pts/sec for detailed 3D point clouds. Angular resolution is specified at 10Hz. The LS500W1 also supports real-time measurement of ore or material volume ahead of a loader, carries an IP 6 K 9 K rating, and supports operation in rain, snow and fog.
