The HB10S-DETECT from Shenzhen HYUCX Technology is a back-mounted metal device for airspace defense with two functions. Its detection module uses three methods. It parses DJI OcuSync 2.0, 3.0 and 4.0 DroneID traffic, recognizes RemoteID broadcasts under Chinese, EU and US standards, and matches spectrum signatures against a library of 950 drone models. The library also supports simulated video-transmission capture. Its deception module sends simulated navigation signals and interferes with communication links. This can cause drones to stray from their flight paths or carry out wrong commands, which intercepts them without physical contact. The device can run unattended and starts deception automatically once it detects a drone.
The black unit has a 10.1-inch, 1920×1200 screen, 8+256 GB of storage and a 5000 mAh battery. Battery life is rated at ≥4 hours. The screen size is also given as 274.9 x 188.7 x 23.1 mm. The operating temperature range is -35°C to 50°C. The unit receives GPS, BDS and GLONASS positioning information. It accepts a 1PPS timing input, provides a 1PPS and TOD reporting message output, and can generate a 50 MHz high-precision clock signal. It supports both internet connection and standalone offline mode. The maximum number of counter-drone systems is listed as unlimited.
Detection range depends on the method. DroneID message parsing and spectrum detection each reach 3–5 km, while RemoteID detection reaches only 1–2 km. Detection response time is 3 seconds, and the unit can detect at least 10 drones at once. Deception takes effect in ≤2 seconds. Output power is ≤ -2 dBm, the lure radius is 5–10 km (customizable), and the deception height is ≥500 m. The available output frequencies cover GPS L1C/A, L2C and L5C, BDS B1I and B2I, GLONASS G1 and G2, Galileo E1 and E5A, and QZSS L1C/A. Custom frequencies are also available.
