Product overview
The HB08 is a back-mounted UAV detection and spoofing device with a plastic housing. It is a counter-drone device, not a flight platform or an airframe. Its deception module emits simulated navigation signals to interfere with drone communication links. This makes target drones drift from their flight paths or carry out erroneous commands, which supports active airspace defense. The identification library covers 950 aircraft types. These include common brands such as DJI, Autel, Parrot, Dahua, Yuneec, Xiaomi, EHang and Aee, plus custom-built cross-country drones. Supported decoy tactics are targeted displacement, circling and forced landing at designated points. Intervention time is 2 seconds or less, and the rated deception height is at least 500 m.
The device can simulate GPS L1C/A, L2C and L5C, BDS B1I and B2I, GLONASS G1 and G2, GALILEO E1 and E5A, and QZSS L1C/A, and the output frequencies are customizable. Its own positioning receiver uses GPS, BDS and GLONASS. For timing, it accepts a 1PPS input, provides 1PPS and TOD reporting outputs, and can generate a 50 MHz high-precision clock signal. Output power is rated at -2 dBm or less. The deception radius can be customized from 1 to 10 km. The maximum number of counter-drone systems is rated as unlimited. Installation is simple, and the unit is ready to use once it is powered on.
The operator interface is a 10.1-inch screen with 1920×1200 resolution. The screen size is also given as 274.9 x 188.7 x 23.1 mm. The specification table lists the colour as black, and the product details list black and green. Power comes from a 5000 mAh battery rated for at least 4 hours of operation. The operating temperature range is -35°C to 50°C.
