Product overview
The HAKRC F7230S is a flight controller board sold as a single component. It is not a ready-to-fly platform or an airframe kit. The board measures 36 x 36mm, weighs 8.5g and mounts on a 30.5mm x 30.5mm hole pattern with 4mm holes. An STM32F722RET6 microcontroller runs the HAKRCF722V2 firmware version, and the IMU is an ICM42688. The board uses two gyroscopes to reduce the error that comes from relying on just one. It is built on a 6-layer PCB with thickened 1oz copper for interference resistance. An industrial-grade LDO regulator handles high temperatures, and Japanese Murata capacitors provide strong filtering.
Wiring uses solder-free in-line connectors. The board has a Type-C USB port and two onboard regulators rated 5V/3A and 10V/2.5A. It also includes a built-in current sensor, an AT7456E OSD chip and 16MB of blackbox memory. You can switch power to the video transmitter on or off from the ground station, which makes it easier to adjust parameters on the ground. Four channels of programmable LEDs are on the board, and a reserved 10V supply feeds an external LED strip that you can switch from an assigned remote-control channel. A 2.4G receiver is built in, and the listed receiver types are Frsky, Futaba, Flysky, TBS Crossfire and DSMX/DSM2.
