Product overview
The EV-PEAK U5+ supports battery charging for agricultural spraying, industrial inspection, mapping and compatible payload UAV operations within a 6S–14S battery range. Its two fully independent channels can charge two batteries at the same time, with maximum charging-current capability of 30A per channel. Total output reaches up to 3000W on AC 220V input and approximately 1500W on AC 110V. Available charging current depends on battery voltage and the shared total power limit, making input voltage a material consideration when planning charging capacity.
The charger combines an aluminum alloy housing, two cooling fans positioned on the same side and an integrated LCD for charging status and operating information. Each independent channel has an AS150U main charging connection, while MX3.0 provides the balance interface. Integration requires matching the battery voltage range, connector wiring and balance pinout. Compatible smart batteries also require the appropriate BMS communication configuration: UAVCAN is the default, DroneCAN is configurable and RS485 is a custom option for specific battery integration requirements.
FAST, NORMAL and SLOW modes select charging currents of 30A, 20A and 10A respectively, and independent discharge capability reaches 100W per channel. Battery recognition precedes a countdown and automatic charging; LiPo and LiHV recognition uses cell count and voltage, while compatible smart batteries communicate through their BMS. Adding one UB5PRO to each channel allows up to eight batteries to be connected for sequential charging, with higher-voltage batteries prioritized. This expansion does not provide eight-battery simultaneous charging. Six protection functions cover charging and discharging operation.
