The Scorpion HK5-4015-805kv is a BLDC motor developed primarily as a lower-power option for the SAB RAW 500 helicopter, following SAB Factory guidelines. Its construction uses a 40 mm (1.57 in) diameter stator with a thickness of 15 mm (0.59 in), 12 stator arms and 10 stator poles. A 7T Delta winding uses 1.18mm motor wire. Cooling combines an internal fan with an external centrifugal fan, providing nearly twice the airflow through the motor.
