The Scorpion HK-4535 Shaft Kit (8mm 55mm) provides a factory replacement shaft for HK-4535 series helicopter motors when an existing shaft bends or breaks. Its hardened steel construction has a 10mm main diameter and an extended overall length of 122mm. The pinion end is ground down to 8mm to accept 8mm pinion gears. This stepped geometry defines the motor and gear interfaces; the product is a motor service component rather than a complete flight platform or airframe kit.
Integration into another brushless motor depends on that motor requiring a 10mm shaft of this length. The shaft can be shortened with a Dremel tool and cut-off wheel where another motor requires it. In Scorpion motors, the shaft has a slight press fit in the aluminum front housing, so releasing the setscrews alone does not permit removal. A bearing press or drill press is required to press it out, with the front housing supported in a wooden block to prevent warping. Weight including packaging is 70g.
