The Scorpion A2-6518 PNP Combo (12s / 40cc / 5500w) supplies electric propulsion for 35–40cc-sized airplanes commonly using 74–78-inch airframes, including aerobatic and UAV applications. Its architecture combines an A2-6518 BLDC motor with a preprogrammed Tribunus III 14-120A ESC, a gas-equivalent cross mount and standoffs. It is a propulsion package rather than a complete aircraft or airframe kit. The motor body measures 77.1 mm x 54.5mm, with an additional 18mm prop spacer; the separate ESC occupies 39.4 x 79.4 x 23.5 mm.
The supplied equipment includes one motor, one A2-50/65 cross mount, one A2-Series standoff set, one ESC, two 600mm ESC/BEC cables, two XL lock straps, three stickers, an ESC drill guide and two M10 prop nut and lock nut sets. The recommended battery is 12s 4000mah–5000mah, paired with a Scorpion 22x10 Carbon Electric propeller. Wood propellers are discouraged because of the motor’s power; performance assurance is limited to the specified Scorpion carbon propeller. Continuous-current ratings require 100% throttle for 60 seconds with 35m/s airflow.
