The Scorpion A2-10020-135kv is a BLDC propulsion motor for freestyle and UAV airplanes. It is intended for aircraft requiring a 120cc equivalent gas engine on 14s LiPo, other airframes needing up to 9500 Watts, and lightweight setups for 150cc airframes. Continuous power is 6300 Watts, while 9500 Watts peak power applies to intermittent full-throttle operation lasting 10–180 seconds, depending on use case and cooling. Continuous current is 110A, subject to power percentage reduction factors; peak current is 180A.
The motor body measures 112.2mm x 59.25mm, with an additional 30mm prop spacer and a 10mm external shaft. Weight is 1391.6g for the motor alone and 1625.2g including the mount and prop mount accessories. Its internal architecture combines a 100mm-diameter, 20mm-thick stator, 24 stator arms and 28 magnet poles. Construction includes 0.2mm silicon steel stator sheets and enamel-coated copper windings rated above 200C+. Mount selection comprises 70mm and 130mm stock cross mounts, plus 100–120cc and 150–170cc cross mount options.
The package contains one A2-10020 BLDC motor, one selected A2-100 cross mount, an A2-100 prop mount specified as 6x M5@29mm, three female 6mm bullets, three Scorpion stickers and an accessory hardware pack. The recommended propeller for 14s operation is the Scorpion 30x12 Carbon, and the recommended controller is the Tribunus III 14-220A ESC SBEC. Maximum rated LiPo cell count is 14s, with higher cell counts possible when using smaller propellers. The supplied configuration is a motor and mounting accessory package.
