The Scorpion A-7445-165kv (V2) is a BLDC propulsion motor for freestyle and UAV airplanes requiring a 150cc–170cc gas-engine equivalent or up to 10,000w of power. Its construction combines a 24-arm stator, 28 magnet poles, 0.2mm silicon steel sheets and single-strand enamel-coated copper windings rated above 200C+. The motor body measures 86.80 mm x 85.30mm and has a 10mm external shaft. Motor-only weight is 1701g; weight including prop mount accessories is 1821g. The package contains the motor, A-74 prop hub, stock cross mount and accessory hardware pack.
For 12s operation, recommended propellers are 29x13C2E, 30x12 C2E or 32x10C2E; the recommended controller is the Tribunus III 14-220A ESC SBEC. Continuous ratings are 160A and 7104 Watts. Peak power of 10000 Watts is limited to intermittent full throttle for 5–60 seconds, depending on use case and cooling. Installation requires baffling that carries airflow directly to the ESC; a cowl opening alone is insufficient. Excessively long battery cables will damage the ESC and void the warranty. The recommended wiring accessory is the Scorpion 1880uF Capacitor / PDB Board.
