The Beiwei Sensing DMC630 series is an attitude and heading reference system for integration into rotary-wing UAVs, robots and other equipment. Its sensing architecture combines a three-axis accelerometer, three-axis gyroscope and three-axis magnetometer, supported by hard-iron, soft-iron and tilt compensation and a bias-tracking algorithm for drift elimination. Heading measurement spans 0–360°, with accuracy of ≤1° RMS after spatial calibration. Pitch spans ±90° and roll spans ±180°, both with accuracy of ≤0.2° RMS. Accelerometer and gyroscope ranges are ±2g and ±250°/s respectively.
The physical package measures L33 × W31 × H12 mm; length and width may vary by ±1 mm, and actual product dimensions take precedence. It has an anodized magnesium-aluminum alloy housing, weighs less than 20 g without potting compound, and uses three M2 copper bolts for mounting. Integration connections comprise a Phoenix Contact FP 1,27/ 16-MV 1,75 – 1714936 connector and standard TTL/RS232/*CAN outputs. The temperature range is -40°C to +85°C.
