Product overview

The Holybro H-RTK F9P Rover (IST8310 Compass) is an aircraft positioning peripheral that combines a UBLOX ZED-F9P receiver, IST8310 compass, integrated safety switch and tri-colored LED indicator. Its multi-band RTK system receives GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDou concurrently for centimeter-accuracy positioning. The unit measures 76mm in diameter and 20mm high, weighs 106g and carries an IPX6 rating. Maximum update rates are 20Hz for raw data and 8Hz for RTK, with time to first fix of ≤29s from a cold start and ≤1s from a hot start.

Electrical integration uses a GH1.25 10pin or GH1.25 6pin cable, with a cable length of 26cm. The working supply range is 4.75V~5.25V, and current consumption is approximately 250mA. The receiver supports open-source Pixhawk series flight controllers; its baud rate is 115200, with a configurable default update frequency of 5Hz. The changed status LED driver is supported in PX4 1.14 and ArduPilot 4.4.0 and later. The product is designated for aircraft rover operation only, and RTK survey-in time is not applicable.

The receiver package lists optional Rover Lite and Rover Lite 2nd GPS configurations under SKUs 12017 and 12025. Included accessories comprise one fixed carbon fiber GPS mount measuring 40mm and one USB Type-C cable. A GPS UART-to-USB converter is included specifically for SKU12017. This equipment supplies GNSS positioning, compass sensing, a safety switch and visual indication for aircraft integration. Antenna peak gain is specified at a maximum of 4.0dBi for L1 and 1.0 dBi for L2, while typical LNA gain is 20.5±1dB.
