Product overview
The Kpower DF5315 is a brushless DC propulsion motor intended for 13–15 inch FPV drones used in racing, freestyle flying and aerial photography. Its internal construction combines a 12N14P slot/pole arrangement with 0.2mm silicon steel laminations, N45H high-temperature magnets and magnet wire rated at 220°C. The laminations address eddy current losses and core heating, while imported NMB heavy-duty bearings have a design service life exceeding 1,000 hours. The motor carries an IP42 ingress protection rating.
Integration space must accommodate a body measuring Ф61.5 × 64.7 mm and a weight of 386 g with cable. Mechanical interfaces include a 6 mm shaft and M6 propeller mounting holes; the cable specification is 13AWG × 750mm. The electrical range is 4–8 S, with a recommended 4–8S 80A ESC and 13/15 inch propeller. Rated power is 923.9 W, alongside maximum figures of 3,093 W and 8,050 g thrust. The 220°C rating applies specifically to the wire.
