The Tianying M8-240 combines integrally molded carbon-fiber body and arm construction with carbon-fiber propellers; its listed body materials also include aluminum alloy. Detachable arms simplify packing, transport and maintenance. The eight-axis propulsion architecture supports landing after power is lost on two rotor axes. Payload integration accommodates different mission attachments for rescue, agricultural monitoring, surveying, aerial livestreaming, short-distance transport and scientific experiments. Its flight capabilities include vertical takeoff and landing, stationary hovering, and low-altitude, low-speed operation.
