The ABASS R-A08 is a digital servo intended for consumer UAVs, model aircraft, model cars and robots. Its applications also include toys, smart small appliances, smart homes and automation. The servo combines a coreless motor with all-metal gears and an aluminum-alloy housing. It measures 23 × 12 × 27.5mm externally and weighs 22g.
The R-A08 has operating-voltage specifications at 6V, 7.4V and 8.4V. At these respective voltages, its no-load speeds are 0.09sec/60°, 0.08sec/60° and 0.07sec/60°, each with a ±10% tolerance. Corresponding stall torques are 5kgf.cm, 6kgf.cm and 8kgf.cm, also with a ±10% tolerance. The speed values apply under no-load conditions, while the torque values apply at stall.
