The RadioMaster TX16S MK3 Radio Controller (ELRS / M2) provides pilot control through a full-size transmitter with up to 16 channels. Its STM32 H7 processor runs EdgeTX, requiring version 3.0.0 or higher, while the internal ExpressLRS module uses two LR1121 transceivers for Gemini-X operation across ISM 2.4GHz and Sub-G 900MHz. The enclosure measures 200*178*88mm and weighs 813g without a battery. A 5-inch IPS touchscreen provides an 800 X 480 interface, and dual foldable antennas support a compact storage arrangement.
Standard V6 quad-bearing Hall sensor gimbals provide external travel, centering and tension adjustments, with AG02 compatibility for a change of gimbal hardware. LUA-controlled RGB light rings and removable shoulder switch panels allow control customization. Integration provisions include a JR-compatible bay for additional modules, built-in flash and a MicroSD slot, with the card supplied separately. USB and EdgeTX Companion PC software provide upgrade routes. Fans and an aluminum heat sink handle cooling, while the built-in motion sensor can trigger switches, camera pan/tilt or telemetry callouts. The microphone is reserved for future feature expansion.
The supplied package contains the controller, signature carry case, 18650 battery tray, two replacement shoulder panels, Type-C cable, screen protector, 1.5mm hex wrench, four low-tension gimbal springs, two gimbal stick set screws, nylon neck strap, sticker set, manual and inventory card. Batteries are excluded. Supported battery options are two 3.7V 18650 lithium-ion cells, a 21700 Li-ion 5000mAh battery, or a 2S 7.4V 6200mAh LiPo. The operating supply range is 6.6 - 8.4V DC, with working current specified as 1.10A at maximum RF output power.
