The RadioMaster TX16S MK3 MAX Radio Controller (ELRS / M2) provides a full-size pilot control interface built around an STM32 H7 processor and EdgeTX firmware, requiring version 3.0.0 or higher. Its internal ExpressLRS hardware uses two LR1121 transceivers for Gemini operation across 2.4GHz and Sub-G 900MHz, with up to 16 channels. The physical layout combines AG02 CNC Hall sensor gimbals, a 5-inch IPS touchscreen, dual foldable antennas and removable shoulder switch panels. A carbon-fiber-look case carries CNC-machined aluminum buttons, knobs and a scroll wheel, while programmable RGB gimbal rings provide configurable indicators.
Integration options include a JR-compatible bay for additional modules, built-in flash storage and a microSD slot; the card is excluded. Firmware upgrades use USB or EdgeTX Companion PC software. The controller measures 200*178*88mm and weighs 864g without a battery. It requires 6.6 - 8.4V DC and draws 1.10A at maximum RF output power. Supported battery options are supplied separately. The package includes a carry case, 18650 battery tray, replacement shoulder panels, Type-C cable, screen protector, adjustment hardware, neck strap and documentation. Its built-in microphone is reserved for future feature expansion.
