Product overview
The Radiolink T8S is an eight-channel handheld transmitter for helicopters, fixed-wing aircraft, gliders, multicopters and surface models. Its compact body carries removable joysticks, two three-way switches, trim buttons, a rotary control and a push-button. Mode 2 assigns throttle/rudder and aileron/elevator to the sticks, with additional controls identified for flight modes, PTZ adjustment and camera shutter operation. Four programmable mixes and programmable channels five through eight accommodate different control arrangements. The radio uses a TI CC2500 chip and 67-channel pseudo-random FHSS.
Aircraft integration uses a separate receiver. The standard R8EF provides SBUS, PPM and PWM outputs, with corresponding PWM outputs available simultaneously on channels 3–8 during SBUS or PPM operation. Receiver-specific distances span 2000m–4000m airborne and 400m–1100m on the ground where specified. These measurements apply to a closed environment with favorable conditions and an unobstructed wireless signal; actual results vary with environment, usage and firmware version. Telemetry supplies transmitter voltage and RSSI, while mobile-app model-voltage display requires an R16F, R8FGH, R8FG or R7FG receiver.
Bluetooth supports parameter setup through Android or iOS, while computer setup and USB firmware upgrades require Windows XP, 7, 8, 10 or 11. The built-in 1S 1000mAh lithium battery charges by USB and triggers visual and audible warnings below 3.7V. Five-hour operation requires a full charge under the closed-environment, favorable, unobstructed-signal conditions; duration varies with environment, usage and firmware. The listed package includes a transmitter, receiver, USB cable, hook and spring, manual and box, with actual contents dependent on the purchased configuration.
