The RadioLink T8S(OTG) is an eight-channel handheld controller for fixed-wing aircraft, gliders, multicopters, cars, boats and robots. Its controls include removable joysticks, two three-way switches, a PTZ adjustment knob, a camera-shutter button and trim buttons. Channels five through eight support programmable mixing. The standard R8SM receiver measures 18 × 13mm and weighs 2g, making it suitable for compact installations. It provides eight-channel SBUS/PPM output. The compatible R8EF supports SBUS, PPM and PWM; when outputting SBUS and PPM signals, channels 3–8 can also deliver corresponding PWM signals simultaneously.
Parameter setup uses a wired OTG connection to an Android mobile app, whose displayed language follows the phone’s language. Computer parameter setup and firmware upgrades are limited to WIN7/WIN8/WIN10/XP. The transmitter contains a 1S 900mAh lithium battery that charges from a computer or mobile charger through USB. Operating duration is five hours with the battery fully charged; below 3.7V, a flashing green indicator and audible alarm warn of low voltage. The supplied control set includes one transmitter, one receiver, USB cable, packing box, hook and spring, OTG port and Type-C port.
