Product overview

The RadioLink T16D is a handheld radio-control transmitter for aircraft and other controlled models. It provides 16 fully proportional channels with 4096-step resolution and simultaneous 3ms response. Bearing-supported gimbals, switches and rotary controls surround a 2.8-inch IPS display running a freeRTOS and LVGL interface. Its 100 model memories, 16 sets of sub-ID data and 32 programmable mixes support varied control arrangements. Customizable voice announcements supplement the display, while a JR bay accommodates supported external RF modules, including ELRS and Crossfire, for FPV aircraft parameter adjustment.

The supplied system includes an R16F 16-channel receiver, a 4G TF card, telemetry and CrossFlight connection cables, a Type-C upgrade cable, a neck strap, spare throttle-centering parts and a carrying case. The receiver returns signal and voltage information; propulsion-battery monitoring supports up to 14S (60V) when the supplied voltage lead is connected to its Telemetry port. Wireless computer simulation supports Apple and Windows computers and requires T16D firmware V1.7.1 or later and R16F firmware V1.7 or later. Phoenix additionally requires a separately purchased dongle.

Transmitter power input is 7.4–18V through a JST connector, with support for 2S–4S lithium batteries, 18650 cells or eight AA cells. Installing an external RF module reduces the permitted lithium-battery supply to 3S maximum. The JR-bay version includes an 18650 holder; AA operation requires a separately purchased holder. Battery fit must accommodate a compartment measuring 76mm along its upper length and 115mm along its bottom length, with 32mm width and depth. A 1800mAh 3S lithium battery provides 12 hours of continuous use.
