Product overview
The RadioLink RE15A 2S controls a brushless motor in a fixed-wing aircraft. Its electronic architecture combines an EFM8BB21F16G microcontroller with a BLHeli_S fixed-wing algorithm, hardware-level filtering and synchronous freewheeling. Throttle control also incorporates PCB circuit optimization and demagnetization compensation to support smooth, linear motor output across the throttle range. For integration with the aircraft’s control electronics, it supports PWM and Dshot300, automatically detects the throttle signal at power-up and accepts 1–2 ms pulse-width input in standard throttle mode.
An integrated 5V BEC provides power for the receiver and servos. Motor timing defaults to Medium (15°), with selectable settings of 0°, 7.5°, 15°, 22.5° and 30° for different motor inductance and load conditions. Protection includes stall protection, power limiting at low motor speed and automatic output reduction above the set temperature threshold. With power applied and throttle at zero, the motor enters a drag-brake state to prevent unintended rotation. The supplied configuration comprises one ESC and one packaging bag.
