The RadioLink RC8X is a handheld surface-control transmitter for RC cars and boats, including single-engine and twin-engine models. Its wheel-and-trigger layout combines adjustable trigger tension and travel with a wheel section that can be reversed for left-handed use. A Cortex-A processor running an RTOS supports a 4.3-inch, 800 × 480 backlit IPS touchscreen. The transmitter leaves the factory with eight channels and supports expansion to sixteen through firmware updates, with the R16F recommended for the expanded configuration. Expansion instructions name both V1.3.4 and V1.3.5.
Integration options include a configurable DSC port for simulators, two- or three-axis FPV head tracking, or TBS Crossfire, plus Type-C and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Connecting an external 5.8G receiver module divides the touchscreen between parameter settings and FPV video. Memory expansion reaches 64GB, with 32GB included.
