Product overview
The RadioLink R12FL combines radio reception, steering stabilization and lighting control in a 12-channel receiver. Its connections support direct PWM operation of servos and ESCs, single-wire SBUS delivery of up to 16 channels to a flight controller, and bidirectional CRSF communication for channel data and telemetry. Dedicated lighting outputs accommodate model vehicle lighting alongside these control interfaces. The supplied package contains one receiver, an EXT connect cable, cables for the CrossFlight RC IN and TELEM1 ports, and a packaging bag.
The 2.4GHz radio link uses FHSS with 67-channel pseudo-random hopping and provides a 500-meter control range on water or land. Response speed is selectable at 3ms, 4ms or 14ms. Up to 16-channel signal output requires a T16D or T12D transmitter with FHSS V2.1 selected. Real-time telemetry covers signal strength, RSSI, receiver voltage and main battery voltage; battery monitoring extends to 14S (60V) without an external voltage telemetry module. The automotive gyroscope applies steering-channel corrections with sensitivity adjustable from the transmitter.
Lighting follows steering and throttle inputs, with configurable switches for hazard, strobe and breathing effects. The receiver accepts 3–12V, but its internally connected servo and lighting positive rails expose both loads to the input voltage. Connected lights must withstand any increase for high-voltage servos; 5V is recommended. Servo connections protect the receiver against reversed polarity. Type-C enables firmware upgrades and computer simulator use without external power. Servo control from 0 to 270 degrees requires a T16D or T12D transmitter and the 270-degree servo control switch enabled.
