Product overview
Nanchang Changkong Technology Co., Ltd.’s CKESC FLY 60A controls motor speed in fixed-wing aircraft. Its 62 × 25 × 10 mm dimensions and 30 g weight, including wiring, define the basic installation envelope. The controller accepts a 3~4S supply and incorporates a switching step-down BEC rated at 5 V, 3 A. Synchronous freewheeling is enabled by default. Rubycon electrolytic and high-capacity ceramic capacitors provide power filtering, while dual temperature monitoring supports thermal protection.
Electrical integration must accommodate three current ratings: 60 A continuous under specific cooling conditions, 65 A for 30 seconds, and 70 A for 2 seconds. Standby current is 12 mA at 16 V, and throttle travel spans 1000~2000 µs. The standard version has speed ratings of 210000, 35000 and 30000 rpm for 2-, 12- and 14-pole motors respectively. The high-speed version has corresponding ratings of 240000, 40000 and 35000 rpm. These ratings distinguish the two versions.
Protection functions manage unsuccessful starts, stalls, excessive motor load, low voltage, overheating and signal loss. An unsuccessful start triggers current limiting and an automatic retry; a stall during operation triggers a restart attempt, although a high-throttle stall may damage the ESC. Above 115°C, maximum output gradually decreases, potentially reaching 40% of full-throttle power, and recovers after cooling. After 200 ms without a signal, output begins decreasing; throttle falls below 50% within 1~2 seconds, then slowly decreases to shutdown.
