Product overview
The MDOT COMMS A27nano-1400 provides a modular TDD video and data connection for lightweight UAVs, FPV aircraft and light mapping applications. Its single-band 0.5 W configuration combines integrated pass-through with a 2T2R radio architecture and two MMCX RF ports. Point-to-point and star networking support different link arrangements, while real-time spectrum monitoring and intelligent frequency selection within 140 MHz provide frequency-management functions. Communication distance is approximately 18 km under ideal line-of-sight conditions.
The module measures 65 × 45 × 10 mm and weighs 60 g, defining its space and mass requirements for aircraft integration. Connections comprise one power interface, one Ethernet interface, one TTL/RS232 interface and one SBUS/TTL interface. It accepts DC 6–15 V, with a typical supply point of 12 V @ 0.4 A and power draw of ≤5 W. Operating temperature spans -40 °C to +55 °C. The customizable operating band is 1340–1480 MHz; maximum throughput is 8 Mbps and latency is ≤10 ms.
