Product overview
The Maytech MT12A-SBEC-FP32 Falcon Pro is a brushless electronic speed controller for integration into RC airplanes, drones and multicopters. Its architecture combines a 32-bit microcontroller, Maytech FP series firmware and a separate voltage regulator IC for the microcontroller. The controller provides linear throttle control, quick response and low-speed operation. As an individual motor-control component, it occupies 27*17mm and has a net weight of 5g, giving integrators concrete dimensions and mass for installation planning.
The electrical configuration specifies 12A continuous current, 15A burst current, a 5.5V/2A BEC and support for 2-3-cell LiPo batteries. Protection functions cover low voltage, blocked rotation and signal loss, while safe startup prevents motor operation when the battery is first connected, regardless of throttle-stick position. Parameters can be programmed through Trx or an optional Maytech programming card. Motor direction can be changed by swapping two of the three ESC wires or through the card.
