The MAD M40C30 PRO IPE is a brushless propulsion motor for heavy-duty VTOL aircraft, cargo UAVs, electric paramotors and manned aerial platforms. It is designed around 47.5–54 inch carbon fiber propellers, with rated thrust of 20–35 kgf and peak thrust up to 80 kgf. The motor weighs 3460g. Its construction combines an anticorrosive stator, centrifugal heat dissipation and oversized locating bearings intended to reduce resonance and gyroscopic effects. Protection is rated IP45.
Mechanical integration must accommodate the D:151.4 × 81 mm motor envelope, IN: 25 mm shaft diameter and D:65 M6×6 motor mounting pattern. Propeller interfaces are D:50 M6×6 and D:32 M4×4, with 150 mm extended enameled wires for electrical connection. Options are 43KV-24S, 10KV-100S and 35KV-24s. The 43KV recommendation pairs an AMPX 300A (12-24s) ESC with a fluxer glossy 47.5x17.4 pro propeller; the 35KV recommendation uses HB30-54x24. These are recommended integration configurations, with the 10KV configuration described as a FOC ESC combo.
