The Ladasky LDK-DW01 supports mobile drone monitoring through a superheterodyne receiver and multi-channel scanning. It recognizes supported OFDM digital and FM analog FPV image-transmission signals, including signals from compatible DJI and Autel models. Its built-in screen presents drone type, signal frequency and signal strength, and can display supported analog FPV video. Detection indications include video and audio-visual alerts, with mute, vibration and volume settings controlled through the top knob. Detection distance is 1 km, varying with frequency band, transmission power and antenna configuration.
The handheld unit measures ≤164 × 44 × 68 mm without its antenna and weighs ≤580 g including one battery. Its removable 2900 mAh lithium battery is rechargeable through Type-C, with approximately 7 hours of operation per battery; runtime is subject to the selected operating mode. Charging support is 35 W, with a stated full-charge time of 1 hour. The enclosure carries an IP54 rating. Operating temperature spans −20°C to +60°C, while the storage temperature range is −40°C to +85°C.
For external viewing, the detector provides a magnetic interface for a compatible optional screen. Memory-card recording and Bluetooth transmission to compatible terminals support reviewing detection information, while a dedicated magnetic cable handles upgrades and data export. An optional directional antenna supports signal searches by observing strength changes as the antenna turns. The receiver covers 0–8000 MHz under laboratory instrument testing, with actual results potentially differing; analog video capture across 0–8000 MHz is also laboratory-tested and does not guarantee equivalent field performance.
