The Hongfei HGS T60 is an oil-electric hybrid agricultural drone intended for pesticide spraying and fertilizer spreading on rice, wheat, corn, cotton and fruit forests. Its specifications give a 60 kg aircraft weight, a 60 kg payload and a maximum takeoff weight of 120 kg. The power system includes a Zongshen 340 cc / 16 kW engine and an 8 L fuel tank, with other tank specifications available through customization. Flight time is stated as about one hour, without a specified payload condition.
For spraying, the HGS T60 uses a pressure spray system with a stated flow of 5 L/min and a 10 m spray width. Its stated work rate is 20 hectares per hour, flight speed is 10 m/s and maximum wind resistance rating is 8 m/s. Standard functions include automatic flight with A/B point operation, one-button takeoff and landing, spray resumption from a recorded interruption point, and automatic return when liquid runs out or the battery is low.
The standard configuration also includes Android or PC ground station support, height-control radar and dual-pump mode. Enhanced configuration options include obstacle detection and avoidance, a camera recorder with real-time transmission, RTK positioning and an additional seed spreader for seed sowing. Although fertilizer spreading is an intended application, the seed spreader is identified as an enhanced configuration item. The aircraft measures 2300 × 2300 × 1350 mm unfolded and 1050 × 1080 × 1350 mm folded.
