Product overview
The DJI Mavic 3M uses multispectral imaging to detect reflectance across different bands. Its documented applications include plant health, vegetation cover and water-pollution monitoring in agriculture and forestry.
Vegetation indices such as NDVI can be viewed on the remote controller in real time during flight.
The sunlight sensor must remain uncovered during use: covering it prevents vegetation indices such as NDVI from being generated. Friction should also be avoided because scratches on its surface impair performance.
DJI recommends good lighting and a sun elevation angle of at least 30° for multispectral data collection.
The DJI Mavic 3M is not waterproof.
