Product overview

The Holybro Pixhawk 6C provides flight-control computing for autonomous vehicle development in academic and commercial applications. Its architecture follows the Pixhawk FMUv6C Open Standard and Connector Standard, with PX4 pre-installed as the supplied software configuration. At its center is an STMicroelectronics STM32H743 processor using an Arm Cortex-M7 core running at up to 480 MHz. With 2MB flash memory and 1MB RAM, the controller supports development work involving complex algorithms and models for autonomous vehicle control.

The physical design uses a low-profile form factor and integrates vibration isolation to filter high-frequency vibration and reduce sensor noise. Onboard low-noise IMUs provide redundancy, with sensor technology from Bosch and InvenSense. Heating resistors regulate IMU temperature, making thermal management part of the controller’s sensor architecture. For integration planning, its defining features are the standardized controller architecture, compact profile and integrated sensor conditioning; the specified hardware is a flight controller component for a vehicle system.
